Aguaspan swimming pool fencing is specifically designed to prevent children entering a swimming pool area unattended. There has been many studies on how to prevent the unthinkable accident, and we at Aguaspan believe our fences are the best form of prevention.

Aguaspan swimming pool fencing is made of plastic coated nylon, which is very strong, resilient to all types of weather and is easy to clean. The poles are made of aluminum with a “Y” shaped internal structure for added strength. Our fencing is one meter high and the poles are one meter apart to give a pleasing symmetrical appearance. The fencing has no cross bars which a child could use as a lever to climb over.

The meshing is surprisingly transparent which means you can watch your children while they are swimming and the fencing is as non-intrusive as possible.

The installation process of our swimming pool fences, which we professionally carry out, requires small 32mm holes to be drilled for every meter of fencing, to a depth of about 10cm. A plastic sleeve is then glued into the hole to which the fence pole is inserted. These sleeves come with a cap , should the time arise when the fencing is no longer required.

The swimming pool fencing can be easily removed in minutes, and stored away, if for example you are having a party. Similarly the fencing can be rebuilt within minutes and only one person is required to carry out the operation.

The strength of the fence comes from the holes that are drilled, with our special water cooled,diamond core drill. Therefore a good level base is required, either concrete, tiles, or the swimming pool crown itself. It is sometimes necessary for us to bridge a gap , inserting poles into softer ground like soil or grass, this is possible but requires more time and should be mentioned when the quote is requested.

The sections of fencing are secured together with a hook and eye system, with an added sleeve for additional protection. To open the section, force must be applied with one hand, and the hook lifted with the other hand, this makes it impossible for smaller handed children to open the fencing.

To gain access to the fenced off pool, there are two options, firstly with a gate, this is double poled for strength and has a double locking device. Secondly you can gain access to your pool by opening the fence where two sections of fencing are joined. Simply unhook the safety hook and lift out the pole. This option is more secure as it is less likely to be left open by mistake.

The installation of our security fences normally takes one or two days. We can normally install the fence within two weeks of receiving your deposit of €100. This can be paid by bank transfer or pay pal.
